Around the Table

This card is the first design to come out of our collaboration with writer & cook, Beth Brown Ables. Beth created the most wonderfully intimate and inspiring cookbook that has got me rethinking the ways I approach cooking and hosting. Her book, "A Place Here" is peppered with passages that make me remember why I love looking at cookbooks in bed and why cooking and eating can be such a joyful and important act of love when done with that intention. We think the world would do well to take her words to heart.

The text on the card reads: Meals can and do change things with no real pushing or prodding. When we invite others in, we tell them: here —here is your place. You are invited, you are wanted, you belong.
