Japanese Maple Twins

Growing up, my seat at the supper table looked right at the Japanese Maple outside our kitchen window so their foliage has always felt like home to me. These trees have a quiet grace that transforms into a bold and playful strength during Fall when their leaves turn a bright red color. It’s almost like an inside joke they keep to themselves all year long and let us in on for a few months… like, didn’t you know, we had this in us all along?
