Yard Birds is from our series of small prints: Inside/Outside. This collection highlights the bits of life inside our homes and outside our front doors that hold a plain and simple kind of beauty. Yard Birds features an illustration of two Dominique hens. One looking this way and one looking that way. My husband calls me a chicken lady, and it's a badge I wear proudly. I've always been drawn to the idiosyncratic and quirky personalities of hens. In my opinion what chickens lack in elegance they well make up for with a double serving of charm.
